The Perfect Nurse
Most people remember with fondness the pleasure and comforts provided by mums when we were sick as children. Trying to rekindle some of those little kindnesses is a guaranteed way of ensuring your partner appreciates you.
- Make sure there are clean fresh sheets on the bed
- Make a hot water bottle
- Light an aromatherapy candle
- Make a little bedside table kit – medicines, drink, mags, gentle lamp
- Make some tempting nibbles – cut things small (reminds us of being pampered as a child) and display carefully
- Put on some gentle music
- Leave alone to get some peace and quiet but pop back at regular intervals to see if all is well
- Offer to go and get things if needed
